Reservoirs in the rain

I went around the reservoirs in Tring today shown on the map below:

 

My sightings were as follows;

Mammals:

Vole, grey squirrel, rabbit

 

Birds:

Great crested grebe, cormorant, grey heron, brent goose (dark bellied), Canada goose, greylag goose, mallard, gadwall, teal, shoveler, tufted duck, red-crested pochard, red kite, pheasant, moorhen, coot, oystercatcher, lapwing, ringed plover, little ringed plover, redshank, black-headed gull, common tern, woodpigeon, collared dove, sand martin, swallow, skylark, pied wagtail, wren, dunnock, robin, blackbird, sedge warbler (seen once but heard lots of times), chiffchaff (heard many a time but not seen), great tit, blue tit, long tailed tit, starling, magpie, rook, jackdaw, carrion crow, house sparrow, chaffinch, goldfinch, linnet, reed bunting

 

Butterflies:

Orange tip, green-veined white
